Jared's parents arrived in Blue Hill on the afternoon of July 12th. Luckily for us, they drove their new car :) We were able borrow the car to purchase groceries and do numerous loads of laundry. Here is a picture of the Blue Hill Harbor:
Betty Maas is a sweet lady and old sailing buddy that the Leighs have known for many years. She owns a sumer home in Blue Hill, and Jared's parents will be visiting with her on their return trip. After going to dinner at a local lobster shack, we took dessert to Betty's house. Here is a picture of her house from the water:
The next day, we set sail for Mount Desert Island. We barely had any wind, so it was a slow day. It gave us some time to catch up, and take more pictures :)
We stayed in Pretty Marsh Harbor overnight, and I interviewed with Waller High School the following morning while sitting in a pavilion on shore. I guess this place was good luck because I was offered the job :)
